We do our best to respond to e-mail and phone inquiries within 24 hours on weekdays. If we have a busy wedding weekend, it may take longer.
If we are available, we will then continue our "getting to know
you" conversation via e-mail, phone and preferably a face-to-face meeting. If you like the ceremony samples we show you and decide you want to work with one of us, we'll ask you to fill out a contract and pay a non-refundable $100 booking fee. Once that fee is received, we'll begin the collaborative process of composing your ceremony. The balance is due before the ceremony begins so you are free to focus on having your pictures taken and enjoying your guests.
Please know that we will reserve your wedding date only upon receipt of your contract and booking fee. Until then your reservation is tentative. Should we receive another request for your date, we will attempt to reach you by phone and/or e-mail to see if you have made your choice. If we don't receive a response in a timely manner, we may book with the other couple.
On the day of the wedding, we generally arrive at the wedding site 45-minutes to an hour before the wedding is due to begin. We appreciate it if the ceremony begins on time, and we recognize that this is not always possible. We do occassionally book two weddings on the same date, and you will know well in advance if we have any kind of time constraints.
Generally, I/we don't attend receptions or rehearsal dinners and don't expect to be fed, so please don't add an extra plate to your guarantee for the caterer. If however, you have a guest who doesn't show up, you've paid for the food anyway, and time permits, we would be happy stay, if invited. |
